Privacy Policy
How this website handles information submitted through its public contact and application routes.
Last reviewed: 17 October 2026
1. Who operates this website
Aryabhata Innovation & Research Foundation (AIRF), a Section 8 technology business incubator based in Sikandra, Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, operates this website.
2. Data minimisation
The website is designed to request only information reasonably needed to respond to an enquiry or programme application. The current application route asks for name, email, programme, project or startup name where relevant, a description of what is being built and the support requested. It does not request passwords, payment card details, government identity numbers or unrelated personal information.
3. Why information is submitted
Information submitted through the forms is intended to allow AIRF to respond to enquiries, understand programme interest and communicate about the requested matter.
4. Static-site architecture
This launch build does not include an AIRF-hosted database or server-side form processor. Form submission opens the visitor's configured email client using a mailto: action. The resulting email is then handled by the visitor's email provider and AIRF's mailbox environment.
5. Third-party services
The final build does not include analytics, advertising, session replay or marketing SDKs. Google Fonts is used for typography and is disclosed in the Cookie Policy. Before adding any other external service, AIRF should review its data practices, security, licensing and consent requirements.
6. Children and age-related information
Some AIRF learning programmes may be relevant to students. The website should not intentionally collect unnecessary information about children. Where an application concerns a person under 18, the applicant must have appropriate parent or guardian involvement and the form's acknowledgement must be truthful. AIRF should use additional safeguards where a programme or activity specifically targets children.
7. Retention
Because the static site itself does not maintain a database, information retention depends on the mailbox or other system that receives a submitted enquiry. AIRF should retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the stated purpose, legal obligations or documented institutional requirements.
8. Deletion requests
You can request deletion of personal information previously sent to AIRF by using the data deletion request page or emailing aryabhata.foundation@gmail.com. A deletion request may be subject to information AIRF is required to retain by law or for legitimate institutional records.
9. Your choices
You may ask what information AIRF holds about your enquiry, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, or stop receiving non-essential email communication.
